I thought it was incredible. I have had the staccato verse riff stuck in my head since I first heard it. Each of their albums (except their first 2) have a song that is mainstreamy, like "Vacuity". Knowing Gojira, their new album should be incredible. |
I thought it was ok. In the context of the rest of the album being Gojira awesomeness, I could like it. But being that's the only song I have access to, it worries me. I've been burned by a few albums lately from long time favorites, so once bitten, twice shy.

I still see no reason to doubt Gojira, they haven't let me down yet.

Everything they've done to date has been awesome to some degree or another. Mostly, absurdly. The new track was killer, I have a feeling it could even possibly top the 'shuggah release this year for metal albums.

There was a bit of "djent" feel to the opening part.

The lyrics to a song i just wrote: I've yet to decide Should i go down the slide to the greener side? I've yet to see a sweeter place to be locked in endlessly A garden of peace where all we know Is that down on our knees we'll never go Forget the rewind How could i be so blind? Now i know what to find I've yet to feel the beautiful surreal It's a bigger deal A garden of peace where all we know Is that down on our knees we'll never go

Thanks. Wait until you hear the MUSIC Can't say its very progressive, though. It's very dreamy and has some odd measures, but otherwise it's pretty "standard". Whatever!

As soon as I refreshed and saw the page load, I immediately regurgitated all of the sleeping pills.

Fortunately I was in a meeting for about an hour and missed most of the downtime. Otherwise, who knows what might have happened. I may have gone outside and gone sunblind or something.
