Hooray, another Hawkwind tour upcoming!

This is, what, their 43rd year of touring, now... Dave Brock and the gang are playing the "Off the Tracks" festival at Donnington on 26th May, and Stamford the next night.

It then looks like there then might be a couple of dates in Eire (Republic of Ireland) - but these two haven't been confirmed yet.

Back in England on 30th May, confirmed gigs are: Middlesbro, Carlisle, Buckley, Edinburgh and Holmfirth... all fairly northern dates. And then Southampton on 4th June. Got my ticket for that last one, there.

What, no London venue, you ask? Nope. Well, not yet, anyway. Keep an eye on hawkwind.com in case they expand the tour list, eh.

Could you let us know the dates for the confirmed gigs please. (Note Edinburgh (Scotland) and Buckley (Wales) are not in England)

Mmmm, I had a vague idea Nik's Hawklords were (or soon to be) on tour but according to their Facebook page there's no dates upcoming, and their main website (hawklords.com) has no tour info link at all, so far as I can see. EDIT - I see Nik's Project 9 band are doing dates this month, April and May, though.

Anyway, back to Hawkwind, and they've now confirmed two dates in Eiré -

Cork on 28 May
Dublin on 29 May.

Tickets Scotland are advertising a Hawklords gig in Glasgow in October, so presumably they are about to announce something.

Slightly good news for Hawkwind fans in the south-west of England is, they've added Bridport to the list of dates. I've got my ticket, so if you see an unshaven bloke in a Hawkwind tshirt at the gig, do buy him a drink, eh.
