The list of record store day releases just came out and I found this interesting:
http://www.recordstoreday.com/SpecialRelease/5375 Basically, over 100 tracks of material over 8 cds, but that's all the site says. I've done some looking around but I can't find any more information. Anyone know anything else about it? Like what the actual contents are? |

My best guess is that it's a package deal on the two 4-CD Box sets entitled "A 21st Century Guide to King Crimson" volumes 1 and 2, released several years ago. Plus a t-shirt
Volume 1: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=7801 Volume 2: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=9564 I agree the entry on Record Store Day is a bit vague. Edited by HolyMoly - March 23 2012 at 15:28 |

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |

I didn't see that at my record store, but I got the second to last 45 with The Flaming Lips' A Spoonful Weighs a Ton and a cover of the same song on the other side by Mastodon.
I was intrigued but had no idea what to expect... anyways the Mastodon version works very well. I looked for the Sigur Ros special release too, but they must have sold them already.
