Yes indeed - they were on the 'And Go' EP released in 2008, when the band were still known as 'Mellotrön' Thumbs Up

These guys are already on PA.... somewhere. Under a different name. I know it.

Go ahead and ask the team if it's ok to change their name (I assume it is).

I actually counted five tracks at myspace. There are also quite a few samples (not full songs, but well over a minute each) at facebook (under the 'band profile' tab): http://www.facebook.com/imminentsonicdestruction.
These are the tubes I found (live ones are not great sound quality I'm afraid):

The Detroit progressive metal band Mellotrön has been re-christened Imminent Sonic Destruction and they have released their debut album Recurring Themes on the Lasers Edge label.  A quick search didn't show that they have been suggested, so I am suggesting them.

here is a link to their website:  http://imminentsonicdestruction.com/
and to their MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/imminentsonicdestruction  3 of the 9 songs from their album are streamable here.

I think that they should be a pretty simple case for addition to progressive metal.

Here is a pretty good review that sums the album up fairly well.  http://www.metalunderground.com/reviews/details.cfm?releaseid=6527
