I just found out he released this piece last year.  Pretty good stuff.
I don't think I've seen it discussed here.   Could be wrong.  The
search function here never seems to work for me.

I read this as "Jon Anderson's Opeth" and got excited. Would be an amazing collaboration.

I listened to part of the track on YouTube, nothing about it really "grabbed" me, but I enjoyed it considerably more than what I heard from "Fly From Here".

I've told this before but he played at a long defunct music club called The Moonshadow Saloon.  He had this 2-3 foot diameter circular object that is a replica of the thing in the middle of the back cover of Olias Of Sunhillow hanging above his spot on the stage.  It was hanging kind of low at one point in the show he takes off his acoustic guitar and accidentally hits it with the headstock. LOL  It was hung by two wires and it did a brief pendulum like swing.

I thought it was amazing, I listened to like 3 times as soon as I purchased it. As an orchestrated piece it obviously won't get as much love on a prog site but if you're a fan of that kind of stuff Open is great. There's so many subtleties in it though like quiet guitar and bass occasionally added in the background, that I think it's sometimes hard to catch without really focusing a lot, loud speakers, or headphones.
