the list isn't in preference order I was working forward from the 70s  with the odd loopback .
PW is a good album and I can enjoy all the tracks individually  but strangely i've never thought it was one of their greats and I rarely go back to it as an album.
PW  seems like an intermediate album to me on their way to Moving Pictures (which is their best of that "phase" )
but hey it's all just down to personal preference and what a song makes you remember or think or feel.

Grace under Pressure, IIRC seemed to polarise opinion, the last time it was discussed around here. I actually think it's among their best 80's albums. Just behind Moving Pictures, and arguably on a par with Permenant Waves.

More enjoyable than Hemispheres, though? For me, I would probably say not, although by the time the band recorded GUP, Geddy was certainly a far better singer, imo.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

This is most definitely true... and it leaked into the 90's.

I actually had that song going through my head all day yesterday.  I like it.  It's not a favorite, but it's a nice riff, and I get a kick out of Geddy screaming "Ah Think Ahm Goin' Bald!!"

So, put your musket away, Sir Dennis. You should know I only dual with swords. I'm a bit old fashioned, like that...
Confused

Ok, I should have got the "sword" part from your name, my bad.

Yes, most fans never mention "Lamneth" which is lamentable as it was RUSH's first concept piece.  I think for a first
try they connected a bunch of separate musical ideas very well.   2112 or my favorite Hemispheres side 1 would
not exist without that first effort.

Ok pal, our "lovefest" is oficially over.  Take back what you said about  "better than Hemispheres" or I shall challenge you to a dual(with those old musket pistols that may or may not actually fire.Wink)

LOL

Hemispheres never really did all that much for me.  Especially the first side.
