Choose your favorite between these albums from this avant-garde band:

1. Not Available - nominated for best album title ever.
2. Third Reich N Roll.
3. Duck Stab (without Buster & Glen).
4. Eskimo.
5. Commercial Album.

Eskimo. To be honest it's decades I last heard it but it made me a huge impact in those early days ...

This is my kind of poll!

Probably "Not Available". Then "Eskimo" and "Fingerprince" are tied.
"Duck Stab", "Meet The Residents", and "Commercial" tied for third.

And then "Third Reich & Roll". Not a fan of this album.

I like them all but,
1. Not Available (easy choice)
2. Fingerprince
3. Third Reich n' Roll (Love "Swastikas On Parade", not a huge fan of "Hitler Was A Vegeterian")
4. Meet The Residents
5. Duck Stab
6. Eskimo
7. Commercial Album (i do need to hear this album some more though)

Baby Sex and God In Three Persons would've probably made 4 or 5 if they were included in the poll.

God In Three Persons was much later, after the Mole Trilogy.  It was the last new Residents album I bought.

Voted for Third Reich n Roll, which I've always loved.

When did the Residue compilation come out? that would win for me if it were included.

This is my favorite period for the Residents.  For a LONG time, my undisputed favorite (and perennial contender for alltime favorite) was Not Available, but in recent years the debut album (Meet the Residents) has become my favorite.  Very honorable mention goes to Fingerprince too -- a more low-key album but every bit as good.

I guess I'll vote for Meet the Residents.

Why your avatar is a cover of Fingerprince when your favorite album of the Residents in this list is Not Available.
