Hi,

My name is Olivier, I'm from Québec, Québec city Canada, I'm french, 28yo. I just realised today the two admins are french from Québec province too... I'm lurking around since a couple of years (something like 5 years) reading cd reviews... 

I'm a prog rock fan since maybe 10 years. I also like EDM (Electronic Dance Music). Might add that my listening time is divided approximatly in two 50/50 for both.

I own something like 500cds... mostly Canterbury and Zeuhl stuff, some RIO./avant-prog, French, RPQ, some 70s must-have... a bit of post-rock... 

I'm mostly into Canterbury, Zeuhl and the likes with a fusion edge... but I'm not really into Jazz. Otherwise, I avoid what I find too pompous... 

I prefer complexe and laid back jazzy music, nothing pretentious. 

I don't play any musical instrument but my favorite ones are the bass, the fender rhodes and the vibraphone.

I'm signing today to find new albums, to discuss and interact with others. I'm the only one I know who listen to that kind of music... a tad boring, saddening.

dunno what more to say... I have two cats :3

Hi! Actually the site's owners are from Quebec. We also used to have another member from Quebec also called Olivier! But he hasn't visited for some time... Are you another incarnation of him? Tongue

lol no... I'm not this guy. I also realised that there were a guy named Olivier when I have tried to register the first time... so I've been obligated to add the "!"...

Olivier, votre mission, si vous l'acceptez, est de participer à la mise en place de l'hégémonie des Francophones sur ce forum.
Si vous ou vous agents venaient à échouer, toute existence du RPQ sera niée par les progueux français ! (Wink)

Allo, merci des salutations...je vais voir, pour l'instant je lie bcp et je suis très étonné de voir les sujets de discussions... le nombre de page et l'expérience (quantité de connaissance) de certains progger. Il y a aussi la barrière du langage, mais bon !!!

LOL... bon ok... mon RPQ est un peu rouillé... j'ai du Sloche, Maneige, Opus 5, Etcetera, Aquarelle, Orchest Sympatique, Contraction, Cano, Octobre, Harmonium, Beau Dommage, Fiori-Séguin. Plus actuel j'ai du Miriodor, Rouge Ciel, Interférence Sardine, Quartik, Orioxy, Spaced Out, Visible wind, Below the sea, Godspeed et Silver Mont Zion... je pense que c'est tout XD 
Mais je suis vraiment plus Zeuhl et Canterbury...

Hey!

Wanna talk to some guys into Canterbury, Zeuhl and the likes (fusion similar too), I have searched the forum and find each genre a thread but I don't know if its ok to reply in it cause the last posts were something more than a month ago.Can we bump threads that old ? I might be really interested to interact with peeps in some "Appreciation" threads.
