Hi,
I was thinking of Roger Chapman, from the Joe Cocker school if you will. His band, Family and then Streetwalkers were very good, and it got better as it went for more rock and then harder rock in Streetwalkers ... Let me put on Chili con Carne and then Gypsy Moon ... just to make sure! Acqua Fragile's lead singer in 2 albums, became the lead singer in PFM ... Jet Lag I think ... have to check again ... it's been a while on that one. He is definitly from the Gabriel style. Both Lothar Meid and Kris Karrer sing in Amon Duul 2 ... but it is a very free form style and their voices are really ... you have been warned ... they tend to go for the theatrical feel a lot more than it is about the singing itself, and this is one of the reasons why not many folks like this band ... the vocals are very tough to deal with all around!

Love this band ... such a great singer and actor. In the end, Peter Gabriel did not stay the actor and the costumes, but this guy never stopped, and Ange's first 7 albums are top notch and then some. In my book they rival a lot of the other "progressive" bands out there with their work.
