Quite a selection. I could easily vote for most of this list. Going with Saga's Conversation. Not as well know as many of the others, but a really excellent track.

Some tough choices: the debut of the rejuvenated Crimson against, arguably, Rush's finest recording. And both albums were solid from start to finish, which then makes choosing one song all the more difficult. Being the KC fan I am, I had to go with them and chose Elephant Talk simply because I can stillremember my excitement about a reformed KC the first time I put the needle down on the record and Levin's stick part kicked in.

Not nearly so much variety here as with Heat 1, which makes this a much easier choice for me -- Univers Zero's "Dense".

Robert Fripp have two songs called "Cognitive Dissonance" and "Inductive Resonance".
The nominated song is called "Cognitive Resonance".
So which song will it be? Half of the first and half of the second?

I know I will lose with this vote: The Sheltering Sky. I will choose ambient over rock.
