Curious whether you all think King's X should be considered a prog band. Should they be listed on this website?

Great band ... but I don't know which of the existing subgenres would fit. Psychedelic Rock? Not really ... Prog Metal? They're not really metal ...

Soundwise they may be called metal ... but they're a rock band. They play a mix of rock, blues, soul and pop, and their songs are consistently great. Their vocal arrangements are better than Spock's Beard, and the guitar work is fantastic. The have no keyboard player ... but I'm not one of those who say that prog bands must use keyboards.
