Two talented bands, and a good woodwinds match-up.. I wish Flor de Loto were more folk and less hard rock (and I find it rather derivatave), and I feel that Galie suffers a bit from Progitis (at least on the début it has derivative symph prog qualities which I don't much like), but I may vote for Galie.  Not sure yet, though, have to think about it.  Both have tracks I prefer, and I will want to revisit other music by both before I decide.
Just a fanboy passin' through.

It's the toughest decision for me as well up to now. Both are great bands. Galie sounds very much like those 70's RPI bands, while Flor De Loto reminds me of Los Jaivas with a much harder edge. Definitely the strongest pair of bands the comeptition has offered so far. I'll keep my vote for a little longer too.

Both are very good, and good descriptions. I almost voted for Flor de Loto, and then I almost voted for Galie.  To me Flor de Loto is a bit like Los Jaivas meets Jethro Tull (got that Andean quality with a hard  rocking, erm, rim, lip, border, naw edge just as you said -- good drummer to boot).  And Galie also reminds me of RPI (Italian Symphonic Prog particularly), especially those that were influenced by Yes (which is a lot).  Strong match-up indeed, and also the hardest for me.  It'll come down to whatever qualities I decide that I most value depending on my mood when I vote, methinks.

Galie
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

I'll go with Galie just to try to tie things up a little. Seriously, it's almost impossible for me to choose.

I listened to them only once, and I'm leaning towards Flor, I hope I can find some more time and listen again, maybe I'll change my mind.

It seems "Flor de Loto" is the band I have liked better so far in the tournament. I may just look for some more music from them and see if I'll end up buying anything from them... eventually.
