two progressive heavy rock/metal albums that came in the late 80s early 90s with sort of generation related concepts, and mental stuff i guess
Mindcrime os more hailed as one of the great metal concepts while Generation 13 is a bit forgotten album from Saga whih i urge every who is interested in loud, guitar drivven, heavy prog, with great vocals, good guitar leads and theatric rock, ![]() ![]() |

you know Procol Harum created their own nieche in prog in the 70s like theyr own symph prog sound which they molded to their own IMO, quote Aginor

I love generation 13, I rated it with five stars. Saga's best album by far.

I got Mindcrime shortly after it was released and Generation 13 only many years later. Mindcrime has been a recording that definitely stood the test of time with me. Generation 13 is a good album but somehow hasn´t moved me asmuch as Mindcrime.

Saga for me. Probably their best record along with World's Apart.
Operation Mindcrime is the only album by Queensryche I've heard, but I'm really not a fan. |

Mindcrime is the stronger offering overall... Gen 13 has some great highpoints though.
