DC for days.
I'm sorry, DC is ... ?
as Dean pointed out, it's 'Detective Comics' ;  Batman was originally a privateering detective, if a flamboyant one.

Okay--   technically Supes has superpowers but I always felt they were only "super" relative to his Kryptonian status: he was far denser and stronger than earthmen but only because he was born to a denser race that'd evolved under harsher conditions.   He was never intended to literally fly.   He would leap, not fly, as made clear by the Max Fleisher animated shorts of the early 1940s (a must see for any comix fan) which fits with him as a super man, but nothing more.   It was later that he began to become airborne and acquired 'x-ray vision'.   Jerry Siegel says of John Carter, an early Superman influence, "Carter was able to leap great distances because the planet Mars was smaller that the planet Earth; and he had great strength" .

I really hate Superman though. LOL

Batman & the Bat Family, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Flash, Blue Beetle and... I'm sure I'm missing someone...

But yeah, the whole "super" thing never really appealed to me, there's not enough human connection.

I've always though Iron Man was awesome because I have robophilia or something. That being said, I've never kept up with any kind of comic books or cartoon/live action film adaptations.

Iron Man is most appealing due to Downey Jrs fun characteristics. Thor is certainly one of the best movies of the lot. Avengers movie is awesome.

Best Marvel movies Top 5

1 The Avengers
2 Iron Man 2
3 Thor
4 Iron Man
5 Incredible Hulk

He has to be an original member?

Some people are grumbling about how Antman and Wasp got dropped in favour of Hawkeye and Black Widow. (The original Avengers line up was Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Antman and Wasp. Cap went in and Hulk went out in #4.)

But it makes complete sense from a writing and marketing perspective. There simply isn't the interest to justify an Antman movie and even just popping him into the Avengers, people don't care. Plus he's hard to write for because you keep having to come up with special situations that need someone to be small. Perhaps if they'd fast-forwarded him to his Giantman days he might've fit in.... However, if Avengers movies keep coming, they'll have to include Hank Pym eventually... I wanna see Ultron (who Antman, Hank Pym, accidentally creates) as a villain too....

^ Nonetheless he is still on the poll. Let's just go with it. It doesn't say anything about being an original member.

I normally don't take Superhero movies all that seriously, but I always thought Robert Downey Jr. was a boss. Iron Man for me personally.
