I the days when he was disowning any prog connection prog was a dirty word and I think he was trying to distance himself from it. As prog has made somewhat of a comeback and is almost cool over recent years I'm sure he'll be happy to be associated with it now.

Great stuff, pretty unexpected and yet very familiar to both Akerfeld and Wilson. One of the best albums of the year so far

That's precisely what my wife has been doing with Storm Corrosion (she bought the deluxe package). 

But honestly: if this album wasn't by Wilson and Akerfeldt, who'd ever talk about it?
