Hi
I'm in an Eloy mood tonight and I was wondering what is your favourite album by this amazing band. I know that people doesn't agree on which is the better so I tought it would be interesting. I can't decide between Ocean and Planets..

I can't claim to have heard nearly all of them, but of those that I have (mainly during their "classic" phase), it's OCEAN that I normally turn to, followed by SILENT CRIES...

I don't understand the love for Ocean, to me it sounds like 100% corn. Easily the worst of their first 7 albums.
Inside for me. Runner-up probably Dawn, or maybe Floating Edited by Triceratopsoil - April 27 2012 at 23:14 |

Out of the two I own: Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes (despite the Pink Floyd cover ...I mean, 'Astral Entrance')

One of my favourite bands
toss up between Planets and Time To Turn. Planets gets my vote because its just such a powerfull slice of space prog. My house shudders when I turn the volume up

Eloy are a band who really don't enthuse me that much generally; some of their stuff tends towards corny space rock.
But they're good musicians and they certainly never do anything to offend. I really like Time to Turn, so it gets my vote.
