I've noticed lately that quite a few DVDs of famous prog acts have been uploaded and are freely streamable on Youtube for our general enjoyment, so I thought I'd make a thread of recommendations of good live prog on youtube.
Here's a few I've found. Pink Floyd - Pulse (In two parts) King Crimson - EleKtriK - Live in Japan Rush - Exit... Stage Left Emerson Lake and Palmer - Live at Royal Albert Hall Jethro Tull - Live at Madison Square Garden 1978 (Video starts at 19:53) Genesis - When in Rome (?) Genesis - Live King Crimson - Three of a Perfect Pair: Live in Japan Frank Zappa - Barcelona Alan Parsons - Live in Madrid Dream Theater - Romavarium The Mars Volta - SWU 2010 Do you know of any good ones?

I thought you couldn't post any KC stuff on PA or else Fripp will send a hitman after you. Or has that all changed? Anyway...

The Mars Volta's best concert. Deloused in it's entirety with the original line up.

Great thread, although I'm afraid some of these will be soon removed by the rights owners.
Here's another good one: GG's Sight and Sound (GG at the GG). Edited by Gerinski - May 01 2012 at 04:07 |

I just watched KC's Elektrik Live in Japan (The Power To Believe Tour), I saw that tour live in Barcelona and it brought me nice memories, what an amazing bunch of guys.
This one's not strictly Prog but it brings me also nice memories as I remember very well watching it live with my best friends on spanish TV, they broadcasted it live.
Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Brian May, Joe Walsh, Paul Rodgers... BTW on some tracks Rick Wakeman on keys (although he gets very little camera attention and does not play anything remarkable) and Cozy Powell on drums. A favourite of mine is Steve Vai's For The Love Of God at 25m50s.
Too bad in the original concert Nuno Bettencourt started his performance with an amazing performance of Flight Of The Bumblebee and then as Extreme they played Get The Funk Out which OK is not Prog but it was a great live performance, and for some misterious reason both have been removed from all the copies I have seen from this video (so it's not really the "Full Concert" as stated in the title).

AWSOMM!! I guess I could complain about Neal's voice being lost at times, minor mistakes etc. but seriously, what an epic performance/setlist! Spock's always was and is a mighty live band ![]() |

Yeah Neil had lost his voice in this concert, too bad. And I preferred Dave Meros at the bass but it's still a nice concert.
