Canterbury is well represented this time. Interesting that Dave Stewart is featured on three of these records(Khan, Egg, Hatfields).
I must admit i was surprised at Shamal winning the last round. That album was produced by Nick Mason by the way. I think Nick worked with Hillage too on his solo albums. Anyway this is the final poll for E-K then we're off to L-R.
Holdsworth is here twice. Once on his album
 and also on that Gong classic Gazeuse! Okay i'll shut my yap now. |

Wow, 2 releases with the amazing Allan Holdsworth on guitar. Have to go with Gong's Gazeuse, since it, along with Jean Luc Ponty's Enigmatic Ocean, was my introduction to his groundsbreaking playing.

Seeing as I currently am on a Mwandishi trip - I'm staying consistent and voting for Crossings. Brilliance from start to finish!
Could have gone for Rotter's Club too, but it doesn't quite reach those same heights for me personally.

Hey your back ! I still can't decide between Khan, Hatfields and Frogg Cafe. I love how Hillage rips it up on that Khan album plus it has such a late sixties vibe to it. Stewart just kills on The Rotters Club while Bateless Edge is one of the best newer albums i have heard. |
