Not references per se, but they are on TV: I'm going through some channels. One of them has a movie called Fragile with Flockhart and Roxburgh, and the next channel has Red with Mirren and Willis. I just found that a bit funny and amusing.

^I remember there was some car commercial a few years back that played the opening strands of Thick as a Brick.

I have no knowledge about the quality of Volkswagens nor any knowledge about their company, but I thought it was a (relatively (relative to most commercials on TV (although the use of a Rush song might make me biased))) funny commercial
