Topic: Opeth Survivor: Blackwater Park FINALS Posted: May 07 2012 at 22:26 |
VOTE FOR YOUR LEAST FAVORITE TRACK.
The final two go to the
finals, and the third-place track moves to a consolation round.
1) 2) 3) ? 4) The Leper Affinity 5) Harvest 6) The Funeral Portrait 7) Dirge for November 8) Patterns in the Ivy
Some of their all-time best material. I'll vote for TDF, but damn does it hurt.
Orchid
1) Under the Weeping Moon
2) In Mist She Was Standing
3) Forest of October
4) The Twilight Is My Robe
5) The Apostle In Triumph
6) Silhouette
7) Requiem
Morningrise
1) To Bid You Farewell
2) The Night and the Silent Water
3) Black Rose Immortal
4) Advent
5) Nectar
My Arms, Your Hearse 1) April Ethereal
2) When
3) Demon of the Fall
4) The Amen Corner [tie]
5) Karma [tie]
6) Credence
7) Epilogue
8) Prologue
9) Madrigal
Still Life 1) The Moor 2) Godhead's Lament 3) Serenity Painted Death 4) Face of Melinda 5) White Cluster 6) Moonlapse Vertigo 7) Benighted

By process of elimination... had to vote for the title track. The Drapery Falls is what got me into prog metal. There's no way I could ever vote that down.

Phil is one of the most strategic voters on the site. He's just playing with our minds.

The Drapery Falls.
Bleak is absolutely amazing and Blackwater Park is even more so. The title track contains many of the best riffs I've ever heard and is by far my favourite Opeth song.

The Drapery Falls is my favourite Opeth track, so I wont be voting for that. Of the other two, I went for Bleak, but my god that was hard.

Pretty similar here. TDF is amazing and the title track is not far behind. Bleak has to go.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Bleak, but more importantly, whichever option keeps the title track in the lead. That's the one that taught me how to really love some excellent black/death growling.
