Read an interesting post on Nad Sylvan's (Agents of Mercy, Unifaun) Facebook page that sounded exciting to me, wanted to share:

BREAKING NEWS!!

Ok, you might as well hear it from me first.
So the Unifaun album, that caught the attention of mr Stolt
some 3½ years ago, lead up to the Agents of Mercy´s birth.
As they say, "one thing leads to another" - very true!
After three albums (plus a live album) with AOM this happens;
About a month ago, I got a call from Steve Hackett (Genesis).
He said he is in the process of making a sequal to his Genesis revisited album
"Watcher of the Skies" (1996). He wondered if I would be interested in recording
three songs for Genesis revisited II, namely - "Eleventh Earl of Mar", "The Musical Box"
and "The Chamber of 32 Doors". (It will be a double album, and apart from myself on vocals
there will be people like Steven Wilson, Nik Kershaw and John Wetton among others.)
I would be a fool to say no, right? So off I went to London two days ago.
Spent almost the whole of wednesday in the studio with Steve, his lovely wife Jo and his right hand ROger King -
just trying out things and also getting to know each other a bit. The chemestry was there from the word go!

Thing is - this will go on the road in 2013, and Steve wants me to perform the whole show
as his singer and frontman, singing old Genesis classics. Did I die and go to heaven? Almost think so!
Tour dates in Great Britain and Europe is yet to be confirmed.
A little teaser is, that I will join Steve and his band on stage June the 24 (this year) on the Isle of Wight
festival to sing "Watcher of the Skies". No batwings and cape, but I will make do with what I have, my voice.
http://www.isleofwightfestival.com/line-up.aspx

Roine and Jonas are very busy this year with the long awaited Flower Kings reunion,
and who knows how long they will be touring.
So this gives me a little time to do something else too.
AOM fans - fear not! We will be back in the studio around November/December for AOM4!

Hope this piece of news is as exciting for some of you that it is to me!

Stay tuned - all my love,
Nad

The album is exciting. Steve Hacette touring the album, and so, old Genesis tunes, is even more exciting. Hope he finds his way around here... more interesting than going to a Genesis or Peter Gabriel concert nowdays (at leas for me, who wasn't around when those songs were toured in their own day).

I've never been a fan of Nad Sylvan's flamboyant style, maybe this will be his redeeming moment?

If one thing's for sure, it's that Steve Hackett is and has always been an extremely dedicated musician. He just keeps on going, and I can't say I mind.

I loved the first Genesis Revisited. It refired my interest in Steve Hackett. I also think it sparked Steve off and rekindled his career. Looking forward to this.

Really looking forward to this.  Nad Sylvan is the absolute perfect choice for touring this with Hackett.

This doesn't surprise me at all.  Even back in the 80s Nik Kershaw's albums were clearly very prog-influenced.  Just have a listen.  I know for certain that Steven Wilson was a fan too.

Hello everybody!

Indeed this is an intriguing story and I am utterly excited about it.
But I must stress that no tour has been set and is only on a discussion level.
Indeed I was a bit hasty. My misstake!
I have merely been asked if I would be interested to join,  if a tour is to follow
the record release. And, of course I have said yes.
Still, the Isle of Wight thing is definitely on.
Please forgive me if I gave you too much to hope for so early on.

Best regards,
Nad

Very exciting news, Nad! I love your work with Unifaun and Agents of Mercy, and those songs you mentioned are three of my favorite Genesis tunes.

Thanks for the heads-up. :)

Seconding Snow Dog here, thanks for clearing that up for us.  We're honored that you've posted to our little corner of the universe.  I know I'd love to see a tour, though will enjoy the album even without the subsequent live show.
