I have tried to choose some tracks from most famous classic Prog Rock bands.

Notice: A full title of Porcupine Tree song is "Last Chance to Evacuate Planet Earth Before it is Recycled".

Here I go again.

Aren't some of these referring more to earth as in soil than to the earth as a planet?

Edit: Oops, beaten to it.

Anyways; Give Me the Good Earth (Manfred Mann's Earth Band)

^ true, and I s'pose Scorched Earth is also about the soil rather than the planet if we are to be that pedantic, but what's the harm, it's a cool list of tracks.

But it does not matter. Finally, that "earth" is just on planet Earth. I think there are only few people who would like to be buried on any other planet.Wink

Almost an ex aequo between Genesis and Van der Graaf Generator. I voted for the latter because it is my favourite track on a 5 star album.

Another recommendation: Earth, the Circle - Manfred Mann's Earth Band (of the two parts I prefer part I).
Their album Solar Fire is an excellent source for "astro polls".

Oops, I forgot Mann, although he's my favourite. Maybe because his albums are generally underrated here and don't occupy the top positions of the local charts. Surely, I've inserted additionaly this excellent song from this beautiful album. But, what about "The Good Earth" by the same artist? Now it's somewhat unfair.Embarrassed

On certain nights
When the angles are right
And the moon is a slender crescent

It's circle shows
In a ghostly glow
Of earthly luminescence

Earthshine
A beacon in the night
I can raise my eyes to
Earthshine
Earthshine
A jewel out of reach
Form a dream to rise to
Earthshine

Not to touch the earth
Not to see the sun
Nothing left to do, but
Run, run, run
Let's run
Let's run
Mindez elmúlt. Ma már tudom köszönteni a szépséget.

I would love to vote for Earthshine because I'm a Rush fanboy, but I don't feel comfortable voting when I've only heard three of the tracks.  Which probably means I need to listen to those albums I haven't heard.

What album is the KC one from?
In blood, he's writing the lyrics of a brand new tune.
