I was never really sold on Riverside until ADHD came out and that blew me away, so I'm looking forward to see what they come up with next.

I only have ADHD, Memories In My Head, and Second-Life Syndrome, and I agree that ADHD is their best album (from what Ive heard), MIMH is similar to their first 3 albums, and though I like it, I like the more energized sound of ADHD than the deeper and Tool-inspired sound of their earlier albums.

I like how he didn't overhype it, but still made it sound great!

Love Riverside but confess that ADHD was my least favorite of their albums ... if I have such a thing as a least favorite Riverside release. Can't wait for the new one. Hoping that they will tour the USA finally.

Brilliant band.
Second Life Syndrome has been their best album, representing them best. In my opinion.

That's funny, I like everything they've done except Memories in my Head and I see nothing from Tool in their newest. If anything, the Tool influence was on their earlier albums.

MIMH is alright, it's too short. I do like SLS a lot. I just like ADHD more.

I see. Memories, in my opinion, seems too unidirectional.

Riverside are one of the few bands that I actually like pretty much all their material. I expect no less from this new album. |

"SHRINE OF NEW GENERATION SLAVES" - THE FIFTH RIVERSIDE ALBUM!
The title of Riverside's new studio album (fifth in their career) has been revealed. It is "Shrine of New Generation Slaves" and the band will be continuing their work on it for the next two months in the Serakos studio in Warsaw. There will be 50 minutes of music on it divided into 8 completely new pieces. "In 2012 we've been focusing on the work on the new album, and trying to prove, mostly to ourselves, that we can still surprise with something, and what's most important - create an album that would become our showpiece, music-wise and lyrics-wise" says Mariusz Duda, the band's leader. "The title might sound a bit intricate, but the acronym will definitely explain what we did with our music this time." The predicted release date is the end of January 2013, but still this year (somewhere around November) we all are going to get to know the first single, and the video for it. The album will be released by Century Media/Inside Out and Mystic Production. |
