LOL

Welcome to the survivor polls! There are only two rules:
1. Vote for your least favorite song.
2. Your least favorite song is not Proclamation.

Mine is Valedictory, by the way. It's too over-the-top ugly for me, almost like they tried to mess up Proclamation as much as they could. All other songs are awesome, so this is gonna be a tough one.

Aw, where's the title track? I know it wasn't on the original release, but it's one of the better songs on the album.

I vote Valedictory.

Ray Shulman would probably hate you for saying that. LOL But yeah, I prefer it over Valedictory at least.

Well I never thought that I would put the title track in the album. It wasn't in the original release of the album anyway.

Man, is this ever hard. I love this album so much and every track is executed brilliantly. I guess I'll vote for Valedictory since it's sort of a reprise of Proclamation, to a certain degree. The song contains one of the best Gentle Giant riffs though - the guitar riff after the choruses.

I'm still exploring the potential of the album, but it sure feels like the stopping point for me.

I like "Valedictory" ... well, a bit. I like the crazy out-of-proportions vocal going up and up in pitch. "Hail to Power and to Glory's way ... Ha-a-a-a-a-a...". Big smile

Gonna vote for the unmemorable "Cogs in Cogs".
"Composing itself, in a way, is a simplifying process, just trying to pick some (strands?) out [of] the clamour in the head." - Robert Wyatt.

I quite like the non-album title track and agree it would make one of the better songs here. Anyway, voted Valedictory.
