Anyway, it's objectively false that that album is 1 star, so obviously you didn't do it.

^ You don't need to - you could have accidentally clicked on the Instant Rating bar when the album was displayed on a Top xxx chart or in a review on the front page. It happens. If it's any help the rating was made on 13th may and you posted on the forum from the same IP address that the rating was made from.

I admire your guts, Andrew, but hold on now;  unless that was sarcasm, a 1-star rating may be subjectively false, but objectively I'm not so sure.   I have heard the no-artist-who-records-an-album-deserves-1star argument - if that's what you mean - and though as a musician I have sympathy for that perspective, I've also heard albums (just a few) that are indeed worse than the discs I gave 2-stars to.   So they get one star.  Seems only fair.   But I will also stress the importance of a review with an explanation and description that is reasonably satisfying.
