I will go with The Jewel In The Lotus, but It's not an easy choice as I really like the Moving Gelatine Plates and Pazop albums.  I really liked the Phlox album, but haven't listened to it in a few years.  I really should get more Nucleus, the début is one of my favourite albums in PA (got their first three albums).

I just got Pazop's album so I'll refrain from voting until I listen to it. But as of now, Phlox over MGP.

Your doing good to have Nucleus' first three albums anyway Greg. I think most feel their first four are their best including me. Yeah all the ones you mentioned are in the running for me but in the end i picked Maupin. It's a little more adventerous but man everyone on this list minus the two Nucleus albums(which are a step down) are neck and neck for me.

I listened to both the Phlox and MGP last night and they are so good. Love that 14 minute opener on Genius Hans.

I should listen to MGP more often. Everytime I do its fantastic but its always like six months + apart.

I actually like it more as well although it's not quite as close for me. Both are great but there's something about that debut that clicks with me big time.

Pazop still hasn't clicked with me.

I vote Moving Gelatine Plates. What a fabulous album!

Hello there monsieur!
I guess you know which one I picked right? I was thinking about Pekka, because I really enjoy his early years as a soloist, but that Jewel of an album is just too damn incredible right now. Maupin is fantastic on that bass clarinet.

Actually just got home from carneval in Copenhagen, where I met up with some old friends, djs and electronic musicians. Been dancing most of the time and my salsa muscles are pretty hurt at the moment. But I had the time of my life partying on rooftops with the sun coming up to the music. Danced with women in feathers and weird masks and payed way too much money on poor beer. Great times. And now for something completely different: WORK!..........
Man I need a vacation right about now
