I'm feeling lazy this morning so I'm just gonna copy this little thing from wikipedia.

Pinkly Smooth was an American heavy metal band. The band was formed in the summer of 2001 in Huntington Beach, California, as a side project for Avenged Sevenfold drummer/songwriter Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, and originally featured The Rev (under the name "Rathead") on vocals, along with fellow Avenged Sevenfold member Synyster Gates on guitars and former Ballistico members Buck Silverspur (under the name "El Diablo") on bass and Derek Eglit (under the name "Super Loop") on drums. They released only one album, Unfortunate Snort, which featured former Avenged Sevenfold bassist Justin Meacham (under his stage name "Justin Sane") as a keyboard player, and was written primarily by The Rev and Synyster Gates. The band dissolved in 2002.

Now before you go and think "omg avenged 7x sux" realize that this is WAY more like Mr. Bungle than Avenged Sevenfold. I'm kinda surprised this band is not on progarchives, as they are one of my all time favorite bands, despite releasing only 1 album. They mix genres like crazy, and their live shows consisted of them dressing in strange costumes and such. They were heavily influenced by Idoit Flesh, Bungle, John Zorn, etc.

Waiting for samples you will provide here ...

EDIT: I've tossed them to Metal Team, with their MySpace link.

This makes me very sad that the rev died. :(

I think the thing here is to choose between Metal, Eclectic, or Avant. I feel like the massive Bungle influence calls for Avant but that's just me personally. And go to about 2:45 on the last video I put... Scottish jig??

I always liked pixel and nasal. I didn't really get into the rest. The style reminds me a lot of foxy shazam

^Way before Foxy though. Which, btw I met them on the streets of Columbus two weekends ago. They're pretty awesome nice people... but they are SHORT. Haha.

I feel like this album is way more proggy than Foxy- I dig on this album HARD. I used to listen to it everyday while driving to work as it was the perfect length. I memorized every single instruments line on it haha.
