Listening to ISKC Rock Radio ("progressive and symphonic rock radio") and was surprised about an hour ago to hear a song which turned out to be "Art of Almost" by Wilco.
I know their album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is thought by many to be a modern classic.  Myself I've heard it only one time, quite a few years ago, and it made no impression on me.  However I found this song (Art of Almost) to be quite good!  I also remember hearing Wilco (the album) played (on a different prog rock radio station, if I recall correctly) when the album first came out in 2009.  I remember liking it pretty well, but didn't pursue it at the time.

Should I reconsider?  What are your thoughts on Wilco?

I was acquainted with them while hearing their album 'sky blue sky' played in a parisian music store. I bought the album and really like it. They are regarded as alternative country, but I fail to hear the country elements in this album. Maybe they evolved towards a more pop/rock sound after their debuts. Anyway, it is a very good rock album.

Great band. Not sure why on prog stations. But still, I remember them being pretty great.

Yankee Hotel is awesome, A Ghost is Born and Sky Blue Sky are ok, and The Whole Love and Wilco are almost as good as YHF.
