I tried it in reverse order and it didn't flow well. Maybe it's the long gap between And You and I and Close to the Edge. I'll stick with the original order.

There are a lot of albums that should be in a different order or have some songs not on the albums at all..I always do this with my music. I took away I walk beside you from octavarium (I know the 8 songs and how it relates to the concept but it just does not fit). Or "jungle" from elo's Out of the blue. The listen as a whole is more important to me than each individual song. I like to put on an album and let it go. (Also seamus from meddle)
