This has nothing to do with who you think is the best group; just vote for your favourite band name.

I'm not in love with any of them really.

Wow, yeah, those bands names are some of my favourites as well. I've always liked the way Tangerine Dream has sounded.

"Pink Floyd" by a long shot.  So quirky.

Gotta go with Gentle Giant here in a close one. The double G's cinch it, though.

Plus, Gnomonaut has to support alphabetical unity! Wink

King Crimson and Van Der Graaf Generator are such iconic names.

Me and my friend loved VDGG without even having heard them, just because of the name being that far out there, but still catchy. So VDGG it is!

Yep. Have to admit that King Crimson is pretty good. Like Tangerine Dream a lot too. TD gets the vote

All of these names are pretty good. But I think Van der Graaf Generator is the best.

I can't decide between Floyd and Crimson. Tangerine Dream sounds too hippy-dippy and Gentle Giant sounds too cartoonish while Van Der Graaf Generator sounds like something you  would buy in a hardware store.

They're all good names, but Pink Floyd made me wonder a bit about the meaning when I still didn't know that were the names of two bluesmen.
