Ah, the big four. We all knew it would come to this. It is with heavy heart that I cast the first vote: "The Cinema Show."

How "Epping Forest" and "After the ordeal" have beaten the classic "I know what I like" is beyond the comprehension of my tiny brain cells. I'd have the top three as:
1) Moonlight Knight
2) Firth of fifth
3) Wardrobe
The best opening trio of songs to be found anywhere...

Because all the pieces seem to fall in their proper places in this chain of polls, more than in any other survivor. Yet I regret that the time has come for me to vote for The Battle of Epping Forest. |

The Battle is losing this fight and I have to throw in my own left hook to the fray. It is however, one of PG's best performances.

Same here. If The Cinema Show and Aisle of Plenty were considered one song, I wouldn’t have been able to vote at all. |

THE BIG FOUR
![]() Man, this is hard. I guess Epping Forest, but it's still one of my favourite Genesis songs, opposed to the majority of other people's opinions. |

Maybe "The Battle". Maybe "Firth of Fifth". I don't know. No vote again.
... no ... wait ... excuse me ... "Firth of Fifth" gets my vote simply because "The Battle" has more ideas. And it's got some weird progressions of chords/voicings.
Yes. It's finally going.Edited by Dayvenkirq - June 16 2012 at 21:51 |

Firth of Fifth, never quite understood all the dislike for Epping Forest.
