One of the original post-rock bands against one of the original Nu Metal bands. Both released their debut albums in 1994. I still consider Tortoise one of my favourite groups, but I only liked Korn at the height of their popularity and don't really care about them now.

Tortoise by distances unknown to man.

I never liked Korn, and it was not that long ago that I got to know Tortoise after some youtube clips were posted of early Tortoise -- off Millions Now Living Will Never Die -- which I loved.   So a not hare raising vote for the Tortoise.

I quite enjoy Korn, but their new stuff is seriously horrendous. I've never really cared for Tortoise.

Love Tortoise.  Not familiar with Korn, other than their name.

I really see nothing wrong in liking Korn, a band is a band and sometimes the music is even good, i like the riffs and the guitar tone, and it is sometimes also quite heavy... what else is there not to enjoy, i also love turntables, it is as much an instrument as a mellotron, a sample machine/device,

Tortoise I can find enjoyable.  Korn, not so much.  Tortoise for me.

I'm only familiar with Korn between these two, and I actually like Korn quite a bit.  Their early albums are pretty solid, but they have dipped in the past few years.

I as well like Korn. They did a lot of innovative things in the studio back in the day and the simplistic, groovy aggression is a nice change from listening to waves of complexity in recent years.
