Yeah Michael. Not all TD albums are good; in fact, some are quite lousy. I just don't have the heart or the tact to lambaste an album in a full-fledged review, so yeah it's an interesting read i found as well.

Cheers mate. And FYI your reviews are still wonderful. Keep writing them and I shall keep reading them. Your contributions are amazing and I personally really appreciate it.

Prog on.

Thanks to all of the above for the encouraging words, which I might never have read if a little bird (from Boston, with a taste for heavy German Prog) hadn't mentioned this thread...

No wonder my ears were burning lately...or maybe it was just my recent exposure to the Goat song Det Som Aldrig Förändras, played loud enough during a family road trip to cause marital strife (!)

I remember reading his review of Trout Mask Replica - laughing like a wee school girl a good hour afterLOL
He is a lot of things besides funny though, and he always manages to cut straight to the core of the music.

FragileKings did a good review of PRR's brilliant debut album.

Nice explanations and comparisons, perfect length, and i agree with the ratings.

Thumbs Up

Thanks, I´m glad you found the review helpful. I´m actually not a huge fan myself, but that doesn´t mean I can´t hear when something reeks class. My personal The Ocean favorite is probably:

I need to make serious edits to my review someday, because it´s one of my early reviews and quite frankly it´s not very well written.
