tarkus1980's review of Heaven & Earth is one of the best one-star reviews I've read.  Clap

agreed, and he always provides a fresh perspective.  He and I have had many PM discussions and love to compare notes, especially when we disagree!

Thanks to all of the above for the encouraging words, which I might never have read if a little bird (from Boston, with a taste for heavy German Prog) hadn't mentioned this thread...

No wonder my ears were burning lately...or maybe it was just my recent exposure to the Goat song Det Som Aldrig Förändras, played loud enough during a family road trip to cause marital strife (!)

Thanks Alex, it was a pleasure to review it. It was the ReR Sampler that led me to this band.Thumbs Up

Top notch review of a mostly rubbish album from Stalvern, Tangerine Dream's `Tyranny of Beauty' that I totally agree with! Very well written with some great observations, especially about The Orb's `Orbus Terrarum':

Yeah Michael. Not all TD albums are good; in fact, some are quite lousy. I just don't have the heart or the tact to lambaste an album in a full-fledged review, so yeah it's an interesting read i found as well.

Cheers mate. And FYI your reviews are still wonderful. Keep writing them and I shall keep reading them. Your contributions are amazing and I personally really appreciate it.

Prog on.

Scintillating review from that shrewd roo down under, Auusie-Byrd-Brother , doing justice to a spectacular Flamborough Head album that will sadly pass under the radar for most fans. Good show, guv'! Clap

Good review by Matti for this freaky collective of Finnish kraut enthusiasts.

It's really wonderful to see our pal A-Byrd still pumping out awesome, quality reviews.
Always a good read. I look forward to reading what he'll have to say on the new Floyd album, The Endless River come November. ;)

Oh Nick, Sam, Athanasios, you guys are way too kind. I found that Phoenix Again one really got away from me, I went on far too long! Athanasios, I feel you and Thomas did a much better job on that one than me!

Good to see some love for the album from you fellas, though!

Quite the day actually with Michael's excellent review of that recent Sensations' Fix album, then for me to follow Guldbamsen and Finnforest on the front page with my review was pretty cool. Especially since they both reviewed 2014 releases both of which I hadn't previously heard of. Great job guys as usual.Clap

A truly excellent reviewClap! We saw Sensations' Fix at ProgDay a couple of months ago, and Michael's review captures the essence of Franco Falsini's music (very nice guy too).

John, you and David should both check out this Earth album....I think you'd both be drooling.  Probably better than the 3 I gave it.

Hey I got a new kitty a month or so ago and he's wreaking havoc with my old dog and cat.

Thank you, John! Your kitty sounds like a lot of funSmile. I wish I was as prolific as you are in terms of reviews. I hope to be able to write a couple of reviews for PA before the end of the year, but time is somewhat scarce these days.
