But Nick, way to go, my friend, you knocked it out of the park with your Arena review. Couldn't think of anyone better to write reviews for their albums, I know you're such a mad fan of them.

I have one request - PLEASE review that latest Lunatic Soul album! You're spoken so passionately about it, and I think you'd deliver the goods with your own write-up on it!

Oh you are trapping me to write more!! you are a smart one, Michael cause you know I can't say 'no' to a good friend. Consider it my next project. I would definitely have more good than bad things to say about Duda's latest work. ;)
I've also got his first album ordered. Should arrive in a week. I'm looking forward to hearing it cause I wanna understand more of how Lunatic Soul came to be. Can't wait. ;)

And thank you again for your kind encouragements. It felt good to give an excited praise for one of my all time favourite bands. Arena really agree with me. ;)

I really like Nick's review, a very passionate one Clap I didn't find 'Seventh Degree' loud, quite the contrary actually, I think it's an high quality vinyl Smile

John's reviews of Steven Wilson and Anekdoten were a great read Thumbs Up

Thank you Sam. Means a lot coming from you.
As for the loudness present on seventh degree, it's there. Man, I wish I could let you hear my sound chain. Imagine if a music recording was a layer skin...well with the equipment that I have it goes beneath the surface. You can really get a strong sonic difference between numerous recordings available. I assure you, buddy.
Remember, I am in analog warmth land as well. No digital for nick. Lol

Just read master Mike's Anekdoten review for their latest album. What positive praise. I'm sure to pick up the album very soon. Way to go Michael! Sounds like a positive spin on all counts.

You crushed it.

I just came over to mention Michael's excellent review of Anekdoten's latest and saw Progbethyname and Meltdowner's mention of the reviews I did so thankyou very much guys! It was a pleasure doing the Anekdoten and Wilson reviews, my daughter bought me the downloads from I-tunes for both. Much prefer the physical product and I did put them on cdrs, but I love the liner notes.Angry Beggers can't be choosers as they say.
You did crush it Michael.

Haven't read the above reviews yet, but listened to the new Anekdoten again today and it certainly is quite wonderful.

Stellar job by Tom (aka Roland113) on 3RDegree's latest album, Ones & Zeros. I am still digesting the album, but I hope to do it justice when I get down to reviewing it in the next few days. I am all but retired as a reviewer now, but being a friend of the band this is the least I can do.

Thanks Raff, this was the first one that I've reviewed in a while but it was fun to take a break from bio writing.  They're a great bunch of guys and really one of my favorite bands.

I'm loving my copy.
I need a bunch more listens before reviewing.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

Thank you, John, about the Anekdoten review. I took a lot of inspiration from your own review of it, to be honest! Hell of an album, they did it again!

Throwing some well-deserved praise Silly Puppy’s way for his Biglietto per L’Inferno review!

Absolutely!  Fantastic review Nick Wink

It was especially fun reading the review a couple weeks after you turned me on to this album (and the whole Lunatic Soul discography as well).  While not a prog metal guy myself, I never would have tried out Lunatic Soul "organically" because of the tie to Riverside without your excellent recommendation.  Hopefully your review will lead PA members to check it out regardless of their subgenre bias.  Thanks buddy!

Can't thank you enough Dennis. Your incredible comments is really why most of us here on PA, write reviews in the first place. We all have our platitudes and bias feelings sometimes towards a certain artist or group, but if you read a passionate review now and then changes can start to manifest with in you. ;)
I thank you, and I'm glad you feel the same sense of joy with lunatic soul.

I will say after listening to all 4 of Duda's albums that the WOAFB really is his best work.
Talk to you soon. Pwwwwwoooog on. ;)

My pleasure buddy. It's in your honor. I never really would have put forth a review if you hadn't sincerely asked me to do so. I'm glad you liked it. It's definitely more of a "deadly serious" review. Lol!

I can't imagine you'd be disappointed in any way, John after listening to this one.
It's from the heart and so incredibly well produced! ;)
