It was really hard deciding whether rating the debut with 4 or 5, and I ended up with 4 eventually, but it is one of the most refreshing albums I got to hear in the past few years no doubt about it. Great band! and check out that debut ASAP John if you already have it, I wonder what you'll make of it.

And of course great review Bhikkhu Thumbs Up

I was happy to read your opinion of the debut Sagi, I look forward to it.

Finnforest's review of Nucleus Torn has me curious of the band, lovely review. What sounds like a lite Alcest with female vocals and gorgeous textures? Will try for sure.

Also Leer's Fool has been popping out short, but nice reviews recently. Most seem to bring light to some personal favorites in less popular subgenres Kudos to him adn keep up the good work.

It's NOT fuzz organ it's a high pitched shrill, and it's relentless!LOL Must be my Canadian accent or something.
John you've described my thoughts about this album perfectly, I also had high hopes and it sounded great at first, but soon I grew tired of it because of that relentless sound and jamming that after a while seems to go nowhere Ouch but it is a nice album, 3 stars for me too.

Love those laserbeam keys to deathLOL Those are what make the album stand out, well those and the relentless drumming! Kinda like a Krautrock take on Soft Machine. Melikey!!!

Really appreciate the feedback Sagi, I thought I was alone on these thoughts. Maybe it's not all that different from Elton Dean's relentless insane sax solos on some of the more Free jazz Softs live albums and other projects. I seem to have gotten used to those.

Only Bamsen could pull off that look. We should be calling him His Hotness or something.
David, you must have at least liked my 5 star rating for Haxan. Sorry all I could give was 3 stars for Psicomagia.Embarrassed

By the way I really enjoyed your Necromonkey review, I do have the first one but haven't got to it yet. Your high praise has me very curious.

Thanks. I am glad you liked it. Don't get much feedback on my reviews so I am never really sure how they go over. Get the album, you won't be disappointed. I believe the only way to get it is to email the guys at  [email protected] and they well tell you to paypal 21 bucks.

I know what you mean about the reviews, all I usually hear is crickets. Thanks for the heads up about where to get it.Thumbs Up

Yes it's come to this i'm responding to my quote, but I felt I needed to say that since Sagi started this thread about commenting on people's reviews i've had plenty of feedback and even before that. Early on though like many others have said to me I wondered if anyone bothered to read them so this thread does mean a lot. I messaged someone recently that I didn't know and they also wondered if their reviews were read and appreciated the message. So thanks again Sagi for this space to comment.Clap

Thankyou and I have to say it's also my favourite album from 1997 now. What a trip!

Agreed John. Why didn't we think of this a long time ago? We should also encourage more people to use this thread.

^ Let's spread the word H.T., we can all use a little encouragement.
By the way I agree with others about Learsfool's reviews being excellent. I love when someone new joins the site and goes crazy with reviews.

Speaking of which, I just read your Swans review. Nicely done. Other friends have been recommending this one and your review just sealed the deal. Thumbs Up
