Yes mainly a excuse to give a big slice of his personal life experience, or it's just the way it came out... Good read! |

Thanks you guys (and gal). Man it's been a while. I don't actually remember writing that one, but I vividly recall the stuff I described in it

Loved the Thou Shalt Boogie! review, John. Thanks. Glad you liked it as much as you did. I agree, definitely worth five stars that one.
Oh, and you're welcome.

Yeah now I have to track them all down, thanks a lot. Kidding of course, I got really excited during the first spin of this one and the excitement only increased after many listens. My kind of music Mr Bard.

Nice review of Grandine Il Vento, Ken. Similar to my assessment but much shorter and more readable. Yes, indeed, Betty Thatcher was missed.

Thanks! I found it a very hard one to review, because it doesn't hold my attention like a Renaissance album should, yet whenever I do pay attention I enjoy it. Seeing the band in less than a week in Rockport MA! And I really enjoyed your review (and reviews in general) and don't find it too wordy or difficult to read

well, I saw them a couple of years ago in PA and I can tell you that it made me love "Grandine Il Vento" the song. The way she belted it out at the end was for the ages! I can still hear it

Oh, I was about to praise Ken for the Renaissance review as well. Good job.
A dream yet to come true: see Annie Haslam in a concert. One day... |

Which version of the album do you have, the one with the extra tracks? I have the shorter one and it seems a bit lenghty, I imagine the other version might be overlong |

With Renaissance, no. With her solo band, she went over there in 1997 (or was it 96) which resulted in the album Live under Brazilian Skies.

I thought they were going to do Immortal Beloved as well, which was one of the extra tracks. Yes it's long, and the songs are good, they just don't stick much, other than the three you mention, and "Air of Drama" as well. Should we create a Renaissance appreciation thread in the lounge?

^ Isn't there a thread already?
I really liked Luca's Stellardrone review, I should give it another listen. It's too bad he never released it on CD, I tend to forget about artists when they are not on the shelf |

...aaaaaand, another great Roy Harper review by SteveG!
I am really basically following his reviews to hear the albums (besides the three or four that I already knew). Good work, man. |

Thanks again Gustavo! I'm trying to finish up some outstanding reviews and will probably conclude with a super in-depth look at Camera Camera by Renaissance very shortly.
