Most underrated album

Helmut Koellen-You Won't See Me

       Not many people know it even exists, and it is not listed anywhere in PA, except in my posts about it!
          Since it's initial release on lp in Germany in October of 1977, it has never been re-issued on any format, and is hard as sin to find.

                    It happens to be my favorite album.

The ELPowell album is rather unjustly neglected and I happen to really like ELP's Black Moon.

I really like Frank Zappa's Sleep Dirt.

Yes it's not majestic like Per Un Amico but it's still a great album, with high quality music.

Agree with pretty much everything here but would insist that Lake be held to account for a frankly wretched 20 minutes of anyone's time (apart from Hallowed Be Thy Name) Greg really let the side down here. I do like Carl's portion yet could never get overly enthusiastic about the big band arrangement of Tank. But yeah, Works Vol 1 has stood the test of time and just suffers 'false memory syndrome' amongst it's most virulent detractors. Like Topographic Oceans, it's become one of Prog's 'standard issue' scapegoats.

^I love The Missing Piece

For sure not the most underrated album, but i enjoy Camel's Breathless more than Rain Dances or The Snow Goose.
