Obviously Madrigal. Any other choice is frankly absurd.

If Madrigal was gone and replaced with a totally new song, this album couldn't beat beaten by another Rush album for me. It's the Achilles' Heel of A Farewell to Kings..

"Closer to the Heart".  Like "Fly By Night" another overplayed, "underdone", song.  When I heard yet another version of this on A Show of Hands instead of, say, the entire Fear trilogy, I was quite annoyed!  (They could have eliminated "The Rhythm Method" also to make room for the other two parts.)

No, no, don't let it be Madrigal, it's the best song on the album (well, maybe tied with Xanadu)!

I vote Cygnus X-1, a good song but one of Rush's most overrated, in my opinion.

That is what I call a bold statement. Wink Hey, your opinion and preference man. I really like it too for its lyrics and somber, medieval sound. Doesn't even live up to Xanadu though.
