Had to go with Miles, hard to pass up. I don't mind Al's song either, but Tori was tempting too

Squire's song is wonderful. I hope it wins the poll.

This is a very hard one. I vote for Silently Falling, but Silent All These Years is a close second.

"In a Silent Way" -- love the B side of the album, and the whole album.

"The Silent Boatman" off Parliament's Osmium is one I have in my collection and like very much (written by Ruth Copeland and recorded for her album and for Parliament's Osmium in 1970 -- both versions apparently done in the same studio at almost the same time.  Osmium was produced be her and Clinton and she wrote two tracks for Osmium).

Was the same with me.  I dig that Bowie track.

In a Silent Way and "Heroes" are both essential albums in my collection.

Incidentally, I must admit that I don't know the one that is most popular in this poll (Silently Falling - Chris Squire).

Miles, easily - masterpiece of Fusion, Jazz. The playing on that album is very subtle and superb - it's quite beautiful. I love that Mono track as well.

In a Silent Way is my favorite Miles piece and album, and arguably the pinnacle of his career.  Silently Falling comes next, followed by he hauntingly beautiful Silent Sorrow in Empty Boats.
Songs that I sang before come softly once again, and the shadows of uncounted journeys cross my way. -- Hermann Hesse

What about Eloy's `Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes'?! I'm pretty sure there was a title track from that album, wasn't there?! Anyway, that would get my vote!
