I only know Perdie for his famous shuffle.
Gadd though is a legend.

Purdie plays with great feel but he's not as good as Gadd.

Bernard Purdie, some of his stuff with Cat Stevens and Quincy Jones is great. To me they both are really two different types of drummers. Purdie is so much about touch or feel.

Bernard Purdie. They are both incredible and it is so subjective, however Bernard is part of my family, I love him so of course Bernard! They are both legends truly! Learn as much as you can from them and the art won't be lost, they will love on forever! This forum wouldn't let me vote?
