I only have The Underfall Yard which I love, how does it compare to it?

The Underfall Yard is so damned good, it is one of those albums which ensures you will buy every single one that comes afterwards.

Come September 3rd, this will be on the purchase list.

This is a really good single, but i encourage you to buy The Difference Machine if you prefer epics or Far Skies, Deep Time if you want more shorter songs, but it comes with an amazing closing epic too.
Crushed like a rose in the riverflow.

I'm eagerly waiting for it. and you are quite right in saying that; since Underfall Yard I've been following these guys and I've bought Far Skies, Deep Time in no time (and I love it!). English Electric will definitely be in my collection in no time.

Didn't think they could top The Underfall Yard...and this only the first part of the album. Album of the year for me!

Put my review up earlier today but to summarise: daaaaamn, this is a real eye-opener. Their previous stuff hadn't been to my taste but this one is seriously classy.

Plane Groovy have yet another huge announcement this bonfire night; we’re releasing the exceptional “English Electric Part 1” by Big Big Train as a double heavyweight vinyl album, in a limited edition of 500 numbered copies. This is quite simply my favourite UK release of the year, and I couldn’t be more pleased to get the chance to put the album out on vinyl.

As well as the regular album this release contains two bonus tracks: “Victorian Brickwork” from “The Underfall Yard;” “Kingmaker” featuring new keyboard parts from Andy Tillison which were recorded especially for this release.

If you’re not familiar with the album then I urge you to give it a try. For a wealth of background information about the songs themselves, please check out these links …

http://soundemporium.blogspot.co.uk/

… and to pre-order the album from midnight on 6 November, visit www.planegroovy.com

We expect to receive delivery of the album in mid-December.

Judas Unrepentant keeps getting played on my iTunes Radio. It took a few listens before I realized how damn good that track is.
