The Residents masterpiece Mark of the Mole at 2.99 is much weirder. Its much lower rated than some of their crappy, later albums.

And Klaus Schulze's Blackdance, is in my own top three by him, but here its rated at a modest 3.19.

Kraftwerk 2 only 3.08! Come on its got Kling Klang!

3.34 for Cluster's delightful Zuckerzeit, by far their most popular everywhere else

I can't understand why Art Zoyd's discography drops down to 3.38 with their 1983 album Les Espaces Inquiets  before it contiues with solid fours. I prefer it to every single later released album.

Agree with most of this. Especially Black Dance - that one is my fave from Schulze. I also seem to be one of the few who awarded it with the full 5 starsOuch
Up until recently, I would have disagreed with you on 'Mole', but seeing as Steve(HolyMoly) just wrote a highly praising review of the thing, I thought I'd revisit the ol' bugger, and what d'you know? I really like it!

Kling Klang is indeed wonderful as well, but people seem to think that Kraftwerk is synonymous with the electro pop they did after 75.. And hey I love that stuff too, but I wouldn't in a million years trade it in for their Krautrock years. No way Jose!

About Art Zoyd - I do love that album immensely, but I think I prefer Berlin to it. May well be my affinity for the electronic bits though...

Clap I did a bad fanboy review of this album, as well as hella's album There Is No 666 In Outerspace.

Glad to hear! Concept up there with Planet Kobaďa and Planet Gong imo (but not as grand and fullfilled, I guess). If you don't have the CD-version with the Intermission EP as a bonus, you must get it!

and why not grab Tunes of Two Cities while you're at it

I'm digging this.  I showed Red Queen to Gryphon Three to my bassoon studio and jaws dropped.  We've been playing Weber concertos and Telemann sonatinas.  Meanwhile, no one knew OUR INSTRUMENT WAS SO VERSATILE!

Amen to that. I'd rate Islands higher than any other Crimson album save maybe Red.

VDGG: The Least They Can Do Is Wave To Each Other - IMO Is the best album of the band
RACCOMANDATA RICEVUTA RITORNO: Per un Mondo di Cristallo - No 5 stars??? Why???

JETHRO TULL: Rock Island - Why they cannot play some hard rockin' songs? ...and Whaler's Dues is awesome!

A Passion Play-J Tull

Lizard-K Crimsom

Both deserve a re-mention

The Lamb Faints in New York-Genesis

My fav from the Fab Five

I wonder if ELP albums would score higher had they used more Mellotron?

And I agree with the sentiment expressed regarding Jade Warrior

The Beatles - Let It Be
Black Sabbath - Volume Four
Captain Beefheart - Trout Mask Replica (lower than Clear Spot? Really?)
David Bowie - Station to Station, Low, Heroes
The Doors - Morrison Hotel
Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos (at least in relation to the surrounding albums. It's another thing that I think a lot of DT ratings are inflated)
Eloy - Colours
Frank Zappa - Burnt Weeny Sandwich, Apostrophe
Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Abacab, Genesis
Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters
Iron Maiden - Piece of Mind
Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow
King Crimson - Islands, Three of a Perfect Pair
Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy
Radiohead - In Rainbows, The King of Limbs
Talking Heads - Fear of Music
Yes - 90125
