Van der Graaf Generator has been a respectable rival in one of the recent polls even for just famous and important band like Pink Floyd. Therefore I'm interested in their confrontation with other bands.

At last a poll where I can vote for VdGG  Seem to be voting against them quite a lot these days I prefer VdGG to DT because there are definitely more VdGG songs than DT songs that I like.

VDGG is a band I respect more than I enjoy; conversely, DT is a band I enjoy more than I respect. I vote respectfully this time.

Dream Theater do a fine job, carrying the torch for prog metal, but VDGG are in a different league, imo. They get the vote, without a doubt.

What's the point of having these polls? We all know no matter what the other choice is there's enough people around here who will vote for ANYTHING BUT Dream Theater that they will always lose.
