Mark Smoot was a musician with one project album in 1988 called "The Attic" on which he is on cover notes described as "All Other Instruments And Vocals" as well as composer while throughout the album there are different guest musicians on each song (the Flame, Mark Thompson on drums, other appearances by Myles D. Evans, Tanqueray Gin,  and Sanjay Kumar on keyboards).

SIDE A
1. The Attic, Pt. I
2.  Give It Time
3.  The Traveller
4.  After Hours
5.  Residents Beware

SIDE B
6.  Sometimes
7.  Epsom Waltz
8.  Stairway
9.  Right on Time
10. The Attic, Pt.II

Music itself might sound like symph at moments but I don't want to jump to that conclusion right away, I'll post more samples when needed.

Well, I hear strong resemblances to both Genesis and Yes, but more importantly Marillion. Neo it is. I'll notify the teamThumbs Up
