Jazz-rock conspiracy? Zappa and Miles played at the same festivals in the
summer of '69 right BEFORE Hot Rats AND Bitches Brew were recorded.

They sound like jelly beans taste: good.
I may have to give them a raise.

That XTC album is an all-time favorite of mine by the way.  Love XTC in general, but that album in particular.

This is actually the only XTC album I've got, but I am thinking about getting Black Sea though.

Vortex are like jelly beans - I completely agree. Gelatinous and multicolouredTongue Love that debut of theirs.

I think I am going on a Wakhevitch marathon afterwards Skylarking. The boxset Donc is one I highly recommend, if you ever come across it. I think it's the only way of getting his albums currently.

There are plenty more great XTC albums, but I think Black Sea would be a good one to get next, it's up near the top for me.
I've sampled some Wakhevitch recently. Pretty impressive dark electronic.  I'm not quite sure what to make of it yet.

Heheh, that is very much like I started my Wakhevitch journey as well. Bewildered and somewhat baffled as to what this music was trying to communicate. Then I took it with me down to the ocean and everything changed. Consider him as electronic zeuhl with weird crescendos, and the sound'll transform.

I think I will get that Black Sea actually. Couldn't hurt to get more XTC. I really enjoyed Skylarking this evening.
