The Collins Genesis albums were some of the best.
But MJ wasn't bad at all. |

The fact that we're comparing Phil Collins to Michael Jackson just shows that Phil strayed to an evil path away from early Genesis. Because of this, I choose Michael.

You know, it's comments like this that made Phil lose hope with himself and in the music he was apart of.

This is pretty confusing. Collins's one trump card over Jackson is that he is such an amazing drummer. Otherwise, I find Jackson's singing more passionate. I think Jackon's late 70s/80s work was more influential on the music scene and I also like those albums more than solo Collins or pop Genesis, so will vote for Jackson. I am not able to separate Collins' contributions to the earlier Genesis albums and see where they would stand independently.

Collins, for his drumming, singing with early Genesis, and for the cool atmospheric solo stuff I sometimes hear on the radio.

If Joe Jackson were an option, he'd get my vote.

I'm just speaking the truth here. I'd have a lot more respect for him had his solo career not happened.

My vote goes to a Phil Collen Jackson !
![]() Being serious though, I'd probably pick MJ over Phil Collins, I was never a fan of Collins solo stuff, it just sounded bland to me (I'm a metalhead/heavy prog fan)
