Neither, double-neck guitars are overpriced and useless.

Speaking as a moderator, I would remind you you can't say that on a prog rock forum! Look!

A real Gibson double neck will be monstrously expensive. Epiphones are much more affordable.
It really is just a looks/image thing, though, so if you're trying trying to get a good guitar I would buy a regular electric and a 12 string.

Well I think that John McLaughlin would differ with that comment. Since he is not concerned with looks or image but tone and spirit. Being able to switch live quickly between the two is crucial when the composition calls for it. Without knowing the OP's exact purpose for this instrument your comment could be premature. http://www.theguitarcolumn.com/2009/08/john-mclaughlins-rex-bogue-double.html This is the Gibson not the Double Rainbow he used later, but the point is made....

Choosing to ignore is not the same as forgetting! Boris! I believe the Japanese word they took their name from (borisu) translates as "unlistenable garbage"

Bro. I dunno what album you heard but about half of their stuff is basically classic stoner metal. Though admittedly that is pretty funny Edited by Triceratopsoil - November 01 2012 at 17:05 |

I was played the 'Pink' album... Frankly, I'd rather stick wasps up my ass than listen again
