I recently saw Marillian at the Opera house. Anybody catch that gig?

Do you have any threads that don't mention Toronto? It's starting to come across as a little desperate.

Well, I am "desperately" looking to meet local musicians to get a project going. I am seeing if I can find more Prog fans here rather than Craigslist.

I visited Toronto once. I saw a Kraftwerk show. The band was awesome; I wasn't impressed with the city.

Does that help?

I saw the show at the Opera House. Hot as hell inside. Great music. Steve Hogarth was his usual pompous self, asking the crowd to be quiet during a rock concert. I dislike his apologetic nature when playing the Fish stuff. Great fans (some of the best, and knowledgeable fans I've met) and just darn great music. I especially enjoyed Rothery when he got into his groove.
People are wrong when they say opera is not what it used to be. It is what it used to be. That is what's wrong with it
