Probably missing a ton as I'm not too familiar with many of my favourite records' release dates:

1. King Crimson - Discipline
2. Godspeed You! Black Emperor - 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!
3. Van Der Graaf Generator - Godbluff
4. Magma - K.A.
5. Tortoise - The Catastrophist
"Larks' tongues. Wrens' livers. Chaffinch brains. Jaguars' earlobes. Wolf nipple chips. Get 'em while they're hot. They're lovely. Dromedary pretzels, only half a denar."

King Crimson's come back in the 90s is worth mentioning, I like 90s KC more than 80s KC.

Some 5 star albums after a hiatus of six years or more:

Magma - K.A.
maudlin of the Well - Part the Second
Echolyn - s/t (2012)
Anekdoten - Until All the Ghosts Are Gone
Nice Beaver - The Time It Takes (appropriate title btw - s_e)
Alejandro Matos - La Potestad

(The last three mentioned are the top 3 of my contribution to the 2015 AotY list. 2015 was the year of long awaited albums par excellence).

I would think 90125 would be more of a proper "comeback" album since Yes didn't disband after Tormato or really go on hiatus. They basically just regrouped.
